The kids checked off another bucket list item……. Snowboarding….. for the first time in beautiful Loveland Ski Resort outside Denver Colorado

It had been 17 years since I last got on a board in Alaska so I was rusty but managed to not make too much of a fool of myself.

We all took lessons, the adults for 1/2 a day and the kids for the full day. It included all the equipment rentals, ski lift passes and lunch for the kids. It was fairly economical to do it this way for our whole family and I would recommend doing  lessons especially for first timers.

Kian’s class never went on the ski lift for some reason so we convinced him to try it before we left the slopes, he reluctantly agreed and did amazing.

Leif enjoyed his day on the slopes and will hopefully be experiencing so more snowy days in Washington.
